Ishrath Nisar
President
Mrs. Ishrath Nisar has completed her M.A. In Kannada from Mysore University in 1991 and started her career as a Kannada lecturer in Al-Amin College Bangalore. In 1999 she joined as Reporter cum Sub Editor in Janvahini . She was the first Muslim women who started working in the Kannada Journalism field, which also brought in many firsts into the Kannada Print media. 2005 She worked with the renowned Film Director GirishKasaravalli on his Award winning Kannada Movie “Hasina” as Costume designer which won three National Awards for Best Actress, Best Costume Designing and best film on social welfare.She also has expertise in setting up child friendly crèches for garment and leather industries. She is a good mentor and supports, help the youth think positively and enjoys being with them.
Yashodha PH
General Secretary
Mrs. Yashodha is one of the founders and General Secretary of Munnade. She has certificate of Senior secondary school and belong small village called Pochakatte of Tumkur district, Karnataka.She was provoked by Karnataka government’s program “adult education” in her childhood and used to teach her parents and grandparents in the evening in her early teens.She is the victim of Child-marriage and lost her husband at the age of 18. Then she moved to Bangalore with her an year old kid. To meet her daily expenses she joined to garment factory as tailor and worked 8 long years. She resigned her job when she could not face the harassment at workplace and joined Cividep-India as Field-Coordinator. She has the presented situation of Indian garment workers in different international platforms including Cardiff university of UK. Now she is also holding the Executive role of Munnade and working hard to empower garment workers.
Suhasini Singh
Vice President
Mrs. Suhasini Singh has been working for Fear Wear foundation (FWF) since 2013 as a Country Representative & currently as Country Manager for India. Prior to Fair Wear she was working as Program Director at CIVIDEP which is a labour rights organization based in Bangalore, India. Since 2007, she has focused her work on labor rights issues in supply chain-garment industry in particular, primarily concerned with the working and living condition of women workers in the garment industry. Her work interests are wages, business and human rights and gender. She is the author of a number of articles and research reports on the issue of working conditions for garment workers and corporate accountability in the supply chain. Singh is a Commerce graduate from Delhi University and holds a Masters in Business Administration with specialization in Rural Development from Institute of Rural Management, Jaipur. She lives in Bangalore with her husband and two children.
Sumithra Acharya
Treasurer
Mrs. Sumitra Acharya has completed her B.A. LLB from Mangalore University in 1997 and her LLM from National Law School of India University in 2000. She worked as a Senior Research Assistant to Ms. Flavia Agnes, Senior Advocate, High Court, Mumbai from 2000 to 2002. She then worked as a Research Assistant for various centers at NLSIU from 2002 to 2006. She assisted the Centre for Women and Law, National Law School of India University, in its UNICEF project to draft a Manual for the Judiciary to combat trafficking of women and children for commercial sexual exploitation (accessible at http://wcd.nic.in/Judicial%20Manual.pdf). She has done a Research Work on Reproductive Rights of Women with Disabilities in selected districts of Karnataka and Orissa in 2017-18 as a part of the Research Project undertaken by the Centre for Women and the Law funded by National Commission for Women, New Delhi.

Chetana Koulagi is a social entrepreneur and founder of LetsTagOn, a platform to ‘Tag’ youth to the social development. LetsTagOn offers a digital platform, consulting, and services in the space of volunteering, service learning, probono and volunteering management in collaboration with a wide network of non-profit organizations. Chetana has a Masters in Software Systems from BITS, Pilani and B.Engg. in Computer Science from SDM College of Engg. & Tech. She has 18+ years of IT industry experience with last decade in Infosys. She has been an active volunteer herself for various social causes and professional institutes like Project Management Institute.
Dr. KS Nithyananda Shetty

Dr. Nithyananda Shetty KS is an administrator at Employee State Insurance hospital, Indiranagar, Bengaluru. He did MD DCH PGDAP PFDHR and has specialized knowledge in the field of pediatrics. He has a great interest in adolescent health and Children and Women empowerment. He is the author of two books too.
